We can’t do this on our own!
This weekend our friends Lara Berry and Phil Snyder came up from near
Port-au-Prince to see the work happening with Samuel’s Trees.
Phil introduced us to a new type of tree that he believes will do well here. It’s the Moringa Stenopetala and its leaves are high in nutrition and protean as well as the seeds.
What the Moringa stenopetala looks like.
We will try and see how these trees will do here on the land.

ahh, I already believed the Moringa tree was growing there. Our first trip to the plateau we were served a dish with the addition of the moringa leaves so assumed it was already on the plateau. Moringa is SO full of high quality vitamins and nutrients that it's like a multivitamin in a leaf! I will pray this tree takes root there.
ReplyDeleteThere are about 20 different types of Moringa tree. This one is different then the one we have been growing. We will try it out and see if it does as well here.
