80 plus years Grann has lived here on the Plateau.
She has seen years of plenty and years of want. For Grann, hope returned when she saw her grandson return to the Plateau with a message that God had not abandoned them. The changes that happened after Manis moved here were significant.
NOW IT WAS TIME for Grann to see Samuel’s land!!!
“The LORD has given me the strength to walk today and so I
will go”, she told us. Her legs took her the distance to the land and as she
entered the gate a smile crossed her face.
When she saw Samuel they sat together on
the porch of the water house and talked. She told Samuel that now he will
always have a place to return to.
May they all see that they have a place to come back to,
where life has returned and where they know that God has NOT ABANDONED THEM.
